In episode 13, continuing the tragedy, the eldest daughter-in-law Thuy Hanh ( played by Hong Anh ) leaves and thinks about ending her life. Meanwhile, Anh Duong (played by Ngoc Lan) falls into despair because her daughter Bao Quynh (little Dau Tay) is missing.
In this episode, Ngoc Lan successfully brought tears to the audience when she portrayed the mother's extreme pain, her mind half-conscious, no longer conscious even though her mother-in-law gave her the inheritance.
According to actress Ngoc Lan, Anh Duong fought for the inheritance only because she wanted to be recognized. But losing her child means losing everything, now she doesn't need the top position in the Do family.
Anh Duong sadly blames Quoc Tai (played by Truong Minh Quoc Thai) - her husband who has never stood by her side, but now supports her, but it's too late, they have lost their beloved daughter.
Her tearful performance with swollen eyes directly touched the hearts of the crew on set. Ngoc Lan recalled: “That night, everyone outside was crying. After filming, I was still sitting there crying, unable to stop. My voice couldn’t make a sound.”
On the other hand, the incident from the car crash forced the characters to change and fall into completely different situations. Bao Quynh lost her memory, was adopted by Mrs. Chat (played by Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy), and changed her name to Binh An.
The movie "Stolen Happiness" airs at 18:50 every Friday to Sunday on VTV9 channel.
