Episode 10 of the movie "Stolen Happiness" impressed with the chase scene in the rainy night between Anh Duong (Ngoc Lan) and the couple Quoc Tuan (Quoc Tan) and Thuy Hanh (Hong Anh).
On the dark, rainy road, Thuy Hanh drove carefully at a moderate speed but was pressured by another car driven by Anh Duong, causing an accident. Quoc Tuan died and Thuy Hanh was injured.
Anh Duong panicked and left the scene, not knowing that Bao Quynh had been abandoned in the dark. The tragedy caused Thuy Hanh to lose her husband and Anh Duong to lose her daughter.
To bring realistic and beautiful footage to the audience, the production crew and actors had to work hard and concentrate in the cold weather on Prenn Pass.
“The sequence was filmed over 5 nights, including 3 nights for the car flipping scene. Filming started from 4pm to around 8pm. There were nights when filming lasted until dawn.
The crew worked in winter conditions in Da Lat, the weather was around 14 to below 11 degrees, had to create fake rain and very strong winds. The crew had to calculate from people, light, wind strength, rain direction and how to move the car to overturn" - director, Meritorious Artist Nham Minh Hien said.
Not only was the staging complicated, the scene was also a big challenge for actors Hong Anh, Ngoc Lan, Quoc Tan and Dau Tay. They had to act in harsh weather conditions, often filming overnight.
Hong Anh shared: “Ngoc Lan and I both know how to drive and coordinate well with the crew. The actors must have a bit of courage, endurance and good health to overcome the scenes with harsh weather. In addition, they must maintain a stable mentality and understand their characters correctly.”
The movie "Stolen Happiness" airs at 6:50 p.m. every Friday to Sunday on VTV9 channel.
