Wikitree revealed that the audience's interest in the chefs appearing on the show such as Choi Hyun Seok, Choi Kang Rok, Jeong Ji Seon, Yeoh Kyung Rae, and Ahn Yu Seong has been growing, to the point that their off-site restaurants have seen an increase in visitors.
Meanwhile, the film "Gyeongseong Creature 2" released on September 27 recorded 3.1 million views, ranking second in the category of global non-English dramas.
Despite having a famous cast, in which the main roles are played by Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, and a large production budget of up to 70 billion won (52 million USD), the content and acting of the work were criticized as unimpressive.
SCMP criticized the second part of the film as "a step backwards for the crew", while Mashable commented that this is not exactly a mystery horror film but more like an old movie suitable for attracting views.
The Korea Herald also commented that the film had a slow and sloppy plot. Along with that, there were many controversies related to the negative depiction of Korean independence fighters.
