Determined not to leave it alone, Mrs. Nhu secretly calculates, while Mr. Truong - Linh's father (Tuong Vi) - is angry at the blatant encroachment and suspects that she is plotting to appropriate property.
Amidst constant stress, Huyen (Huynh Nhu Dan) still cherishes the ambition to approach Hai (Nguyen Quoc Truong Thinh) in the hope of winning his heart. However, all of her efforts were coldly ignored by Hai. Determined to change the situation, Huyen used intimate photos of Thu Tra and Trong Si to hurt him, forcing Hai to forget his ex-wife. This action made Hai even more angry and the pain of losing his wife became even deeper.
Meanwhile, Linh suggested that Hai go to Long Hai to meet a partner to resolve the matter. However, right before departure, she was trapped by Huyen, locked up on the rooftop and hidden her phone to cut off contact. Hai had no other choice, forced to replace Huyen. Unprepared and lacking knowledge, Huyen quickly ruined the meeting, making her partner angry. Only when he was pushed into the same path did Huyen admit to locking Linh up.
Linh immediately drove from Ho Chi Minh City to Long Hai in an urgent situation, trying to save the meeting. Her determination and sense of responsibility convinced the partner and kept the cooperation agreement. It was this moment that Hai began to exclaim in admiration for Linh. After a tense work session, the two ate together. Hai's thoughtful gestures made Linh feel the emotion for the first time, a feeling that Trong Si had never brought.
However, the gentleness did not last long. Mrs. An (Phuc An), Hai's mother, questioned him about participating in the Dr. Company and advised him to give up investigating Thu Tra's death. She took photos proving that Thu Tra had an uncertain relationship with a tycoon. Her words seemed to hit Hai's heart, pushing him into a spiral of doubt, pain and despair.
The episode ended with suppressed emotions, as the secrets of the past and present made the relationship between the characters increasingly complicated.
