During the try- out at Tre Viet restaurant, where Tan took on the role of chef, Mrs. Nhu (Thu Tuyet), with her unclean calculations, cleverly created an unnecessary chaos. With her attacking words, she made the restaurant's new menu suspicious about food hygiene and safety.
As a result, Mr. Trung (Mai Huynh) was forced to decide to fire Hung (Ho Giang Bao Son) and those involved in the incident. The incident further strained the situation, causing the company's relationships to become chaotic, and the cracks in each person's heart gradually became apparent.
In another development, Linh continues to face challenges in her relationship with Hai (Nguyen Quoc Truong Thinh). Both were caught up in a spiral of misunderstandings and messy emotions. Linh, in a state of despair, tried to explain her actions, from buying a shirt to give to Hai to taking care of him when he was sick. But Hai, filled with doubt, could not understand her innocence. He became even more confused when he learned that Linh had met Tan, and everything seemed to be far away. Unsuccessful words and emotions that were not shared, caused both of them to get lost in their own relationship.
The truth gradually revealed, Mr. Trung recalled the moment he discovered Si's (Vu Manh Cuong) affair and the tense confrontations between the two. But then, the bitter truth came to him when he learned that Si himself had dark evidence of him. His out-of-the-stream relationships, along with illegal business transactions, were all in Si's hands. Under the pressure of those evidences, Mr. Trung had no choice but to meet the 5 billion request that Si had given, if he did not want all the secrets to be exposed.
