Looking back at that journey, Phuong Trinh Jolie said that the most memorable thing was not the championship cup but the process of overcoming pressure to assert herself. According to the female singer, the biggest challenge is to refresh songs that are too familiar while still maintaining the original spirit of the work.

At the time of participating in the competition, Phuong Trinh Jolie had not been formally trained in Bolero music. She mainly sang by feeling and actively learned experience from seniors in the profession. Competing with many singers who have advantages in this music genre has put pressure on her many times.

After being crowned, what makes Phuong Trinh Jolie happy is that many audiences still remember her Bolero performances after nearly nine years. That feeling adds motivation for the female singer to bring Bolero into liveshows and music projects, besides pop music and dance.
The return to "Hay nghe toi hat" (Listen to me sing) as a judge also brought Phuong Trinh Jolie many special emotions. She said she always puts herself in the position of a contestant to give sincere advice, because she understands the pressure when standing on the competition stage.
Not only sharing performing experience, the female singer also emphasized that learning is a decisive factor for an artist to develop sustainably. Although she has been active for many years, she still studies vocal music in a systematic way to improve her technique.
I realize that talent alone is not enough. If you want to go the long way, you have to learn. Learn to sing more correctly, better and maintain a lasting voice," Phuong Trinh Jolie said.
According to the female singer, to survive long in the hearts of the public, an artist needs to converge three factors: talent, personality and lifestyle. "Now there are many talented people. If I don't keep my heart, virtue and talent, it will be very difficult to go the long way with the audience," she shared.
