Introduced as the first Vietnamese film to directly exploit the scams of Vietnamese people going abroad based on many real events, the trailer quickly shocked with the level of violence, suffocation and despair that the characters had to face.
Right from the first frames, Blood Paradise has pushed the audience into a state of tension. A girl was tied up, electricity was turned on and convulsed in a desperate cry for help "anh 2, save me" becoming a direct emotional blow. That is Ut Tam (played by Bich Ngoc) - Tuan (Quang Tuan)'s younger sister, who was tricked into going abroad with the promise of "easy work, high salary" but quickly fell into hell.
The central character of the film is Tuan, the man who accepts to settle into autonomous areas to find his younger sister. Quang Tuan appeared with a female tarpaulin image, agitated eyes, a face full of injuries, and a body bearing traces of hunger and torture. The line "I go looking for my younger sister" resounds thickly, becoming the constant motivation for the character's desperate journey of survival.
The trailer continuously exposed forms of brutal torture: electrocution, beatings, locking in iron cages, dragging blood-filled people on the floor... The space of the fraud camp was set up as a "high-tech prison", where all violations had to be paid in body and life.

Notably, the trailer also reveals the fateful meeting between Tuan and the character of Hoai Lam. As soon as they reached the "new land", both were covered in a headache, hung upside down and beaten unmeritedly. The appearance of Quach Ngoc Ngoan in the role of a "hammerhead boss" with cold words further increased the atmosphere of violence. Even the one who is said to be the head of the autonomous region cannot avoid being tortured when the order of power reverses...
Sharing about the filming process, Quang Tuan said that he was haunted by torture scenes, especially the scene where he was hanging upside down, covered his head and was constantly beaten. The actor admitted that this was one of the most harsh experiences in his career, requiring both physical and mental health. Meanwhile, Hoai Lam surprised his co-star when he was ready to "play to the wharf" with heavy-duty scenes, creating a special connection between the two characters.
"Blood Paradise" will have early screenings from 6pm on December 30.
