Quy Tu Vuot Rich" has just released a set of character posters and behind-the-scenes videos, revealing the cast in the comedy - family film directed by Nguyen Quang Dung.
The film is classified as K, targeting many audience groups during the 9/2 holiday. The story revolves around a wealthy couple who decide to pretend to be poor for 10 years to train their son to become a successor.
From this situation, "Quý tử vượt giàu" exploits funny and tearful scenes when parents and children learn how to grow up together. The poster set of characters is also built according to the idea that each person has two shapes, corresponding to two worlds, rich and poor.
In the film, Tien Luat plays Mr. Phat, appearing from the image of a simple working man to a confident "CEO". Thu Trang plays Mrs. Diep, from a simple wife to a luxurious lady.

The contrast in costumes, demeanor and expressions of the two characters reveals the life that Mr. Phat and Mrs. Diep deliberately created to raise their son.
Tien Luat said that Mr. Phat believes that a man needs to go through difficulties to train his bravery. However, the actor admitted that in real life, applying this parenting method is not easy.
Thu Trang also humorously shared that she and her husband are "not that rich" to be able to "pretend to be poor" to teach their children.
The character Phu Quy is played by Dinh Duong and Hao Khang in two adult stages. If Phu Quy was innocent and mischievous when he was young, the teenage version is somewhat calmer and more mature.

The film also gathers a cast of veteran actors. Artist Ngan Quynh plays the role of the grandmother, while Kien An and Thanh Thuy play the roles of grandparents. The characters contribute to creating a family story spanning three generations.

Notably, Ngo Kien Huy plays Vinh, Ms. Diep's younger brother. This is a rich young man who was spoiled by his parents from a young age, with a rebellious, liberal but affectionate personality and care for his grandson Phu Quy.
In the behind-the-scenes video, Ngo Kien Huy revealed that although the character Vinh has scenes of only about 1-2 lines, he still often asks director Nguyen Quang Dung for "adding dialogue". The actor said that this stems from his love for the character.
According to the crew, the fact that the story spans grandparents, parents and grandchildren is the reason why the film crew gathers a cast of actors from many generations. Dinh Duong, born in 2015, was chosen to play Phu Quy as a child after impressing the director and the artists in the crew.
Thu Trang said that the film not only brings laughter but also raises questions about how parents raise their children. Each audience member, especially parents, can draw their own lessons and experiences after watching the film.
“The Rich Man” is a remake of the Chinese movie “Successor”. The film is directed by Nguyen Quang Dung, bringing together Thu Trang, Tien Luat, Dinh Duong, Hao Khang, Ngan Quynh, Kien An, Thanh Thuy and Ngo Kien Huy.
The film is scheduled to premiere in cinemas nationwide from August 28, 2026.
