The singer of "The Last Level" confided at "Youth Memories" on VTV9 on the afternoon of February 14 (complete broadcast on February 16): "The guitar is my dream and ambition since I was a child. At the same time, he is also an indispensable companion in my musical life. Wherever I am, I still have a guitar by my side.
From the age of 8, singer Quynh Lan showed her passion for the guitar. Initially, the female singer learned how to play the guitar from her brother and spent time exploring and practicing.
The female singer said: "My brother studied at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music, specializing in guitar. He tried to teach me but after teaching for a session, he signed my head, so I got angry and stopped studying.
After a period of self-processing, singer Quynh Lan said that the first time she officially performed on stage with the guitar was in her high school year.
I still remember that time, I sang the song Em se lon len under the roofs of schools. And this song always helps me win first prize in singing competitions in schools, the female singer recalled.
Until joining the Domestic Du Ca group, Quynh Lan gradually perfected her playing technique.
Considering some important factors to improve her playing ability, she shared: I have learned one thing, playing the guitar does not depend on how well you play, but you must understand how the guitar gives you the spirit when performing. And this instrument gives me a very confident feeling when singing.
The guitar is not only an instrument for Quynh Lan, but also a companion to overcome all the ups and downs in her singing career. At the moment she was in danger, the female singer also prioritized finding a way to protect her instrument.
Queen of tea rooms recalled: Once I had a traffic accident while performing late at night. The first thing I did as soon as I fell was to think about the pose to support the instrument. Actually, I do not feel sorry for money, but because it is like my relatives, I am willing to sacrifice it to save it. In the end, the instrument was fine but my right arm was seriously injured, forcing me to take a few months off work in the infirmary.
