After 16 seasons of broadcasting, the reality TV show "Sao Nhap Ngu" for the first time brought the training journey to the Truong Sa archipelago. Season 17 features the participation of Chau Bui, Erik, Van Mai Huong, Thuy Ngan, Quoc Truong, along with Tuan Duong, Minh Trang and Phan Manh Quynh.
With the theme "Fatherland at the forefront of the waves", the program brings 8 artists to live, work and train in the military environment along with soldiers on duty on remote islands.
According to the production crew, bringing a reality TV show with artists and a large amount of equipment to Truong Sa raises many requirements for production organization, transportation, personnel, discipline and safety. After about 10 years of nurturing and many months of preparation, coordinating with relevant units, the production crew of season 17 has made this plan a reality.
Mr. Le Anh Ngoc - representative of the crew - said that the goal of the program is not only to record the challenges of artists but also to reflect the lives of soldiers and people at the forefront of the waves.
Leaving the stage environment and daily life, artists have to perform tasks and exercises that require physical strength, will and adaptability. Chau Bui said that the military environment helped her realize that it is not necessary to appear in a perfect version. The experiences in Truong Sa make her more comfortable when living true to herself.

After entering'Sao Nhap Ngu', I realized I was extremely carefree. No one forces me to become a perfect version, I just need to be myself and everyone accepts that person," Chau Bui confided.
For Erik, the days of military service are an opportunity for the male singer to try his hand at many jobs that previously had few opportunities to do.
I can fold blankets and curtains myself, cook myself and then perform gun-holding challenges, heavy things that I have never done before. I feel that I am also strong, not as weak as I seem," Erik shared.

Tuan Duong, despite participating in the military summer camp, still said that he was surprised by the intensity of training in the marine environment. According to the male artist, this experience helped him learn to limit complaining when members faced difficulties together.
Actor Quoc Truong said that the trip helped him understand more about the sacrifices of previous generations and the value of peaceful life.
Besides the training content, the journey in Truong Sa also created many emotional moments for the artists. General director Luong Hai Khoa said that the sea and island space created natural emotions during the filming process, instead of having to build situations to create effects.
Thuy Ngan said that the trip helped her feel more deeply her love for the Fatherland. Van Mai Huong was also moved when performing the flag salute ceremony at the sovereignty marker.

Meanwhile, Phan Manh Quynh said that the journey to Truong Sa brought him creative inspiration. The male musician plans to write a song about Truong Sa after returning to the mainland.
