Vo Ngoc Quyen is a cai luong artist admired by many audiences in the South.
In 2016, she won fourth prize in the contest "Road to Southern Folk Song Fame" with the guidance and instruction of her teacher, Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long.
In the following years, she participated in many other competitions, winning awards such as: Silver Bell Award at "Golden Bell of Traditional Opera 2018", Silver Medal "Image of the National People's Police Soldier 2020", Silver Medal "Young Talent of National Cai Luong Actors 2020", Second Prize "National Cai Luong Actor Talent 2023"...

At the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the "2024 National Cai Luong Festival" held at the Can Tho City Cultural Center, Vo Ngoc Quyen excellently won the noble gold medal for his role as Minh in the play "New Year's Eve" of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association.

She plays the role of artist Minh - a woman who painfully realizes the dark side of her husband's feelings for her. This is a play with a meaningful educational message when many people are tempted by fame and money and forget their own responsibilities to their loved ones.
“New Year's Eve” is based on the work “Realm of Love” by the late author Huynh Phuc Dien and directed by famous People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau.
