More than 10 years after the movie "Ghost Love", Mario Maurer still has a love for horror comedy films, and will transform into a shipper in "Rider: Ghost Delivery" this Valentine's Day.
The film is directed by Nitivat Cholvanichsiri and produced by the prestigious film studio Sahamongkol Film International.
In the film, Mario Maurer plays Nat - a young man who works as a delivery man and happens to meet a beautiful girl named Pie (Freen Sarocha Chankimha). However, when Pie suddenly mysteriously disappears, Nat and two other delivery friends set out to find her.
Fun-loving and optimistic, Nat is a star in the delivery community. He also has a special ability: he can see ghosts. So to alert his colleagues, Nat scouts haunted locations and marks their spookiness with a skull symbol: The more skulls, the more dangerous the location.
Nat is a relatable character, representing the young working class in modern society. This helps Mario bring naturalness and authenticity to the role. Mario Maurer commented: “In this film, Nat is a guy who is trying to make a living. He works hard and always maintains a serious attitude at work. Having never loved anyone before, when he meets Pie, Nat vows to devote his whole life to her and tries his best to rescue her."
The movie is scheduled to premiere on February 14, 2025.
