Taking on the role of Hong Nhung in the film "The Third Party Has No Fault?", Thanh Thuy shares her perspective on the reasons for broken marriages and the woman's responsibility in maintaining the family. According to her, after many years together, the relationship between husband and wife is often no longer as romantic as it was in the beginning.
“Cheating is to keep your husband. It’s strange but this happens a lot in society. Women are like flowers, blooming most beautifully at the age of 18 or 20, but as time goes by, their physical beauty gradually fades. You keep your husband by being talented in managing and caring for him. The wife who has been with him for so many years proves it through her love” - Thanh Thuy shared.
Thanh Thuy participated in the movie "The Third Party Has No Fault?" because of the interesting script and her love for acting.
“When I was invited, I didn’t care about big or small roles. I only cared about my contributions to the role. Even if the role was small or supporting, as long as the director, producer, and audience accepted it, that was fine. I accepted the film because the role of Hong Nhung was good. I saw that in real life, many people were in the same situation,” she said.
Besides, Thanh Thuy tried to develop more roles for the character. Not to give Hong Nhung more screen time, but to hope that the audience would understand why she acted like that.
