He commented: "The appearance of an entertainment corporation from Japan - a country with a leading film industry in Asia - will open up great opportunities, contributing to promoting healthy development, fair competition and transparency for the Vietnamese film industry".
Sharing at the event, Mr. Nobuyuki Fujiwara - Chairman of Aeon Entertainment, said that Vietnam is a strategic destination thanks to its population of more than 100 million people, young population structure, stable and high GDP growth rate. He said: "Vietnam converges all the factors to strongly develop the entertainment industry. This is the reason why Aeon Entertainment decided to invest long-term in this market.
Aeon Beta Cinema aims to bring Vietnamese audiences a cinematic experience with a strong Japanese impression, focusing on: Anime and copyrighted content from Japan; Famous entertainment IP brands; Plan to distribute Japanese films in Vietnam; At the same time, bring Vietnamese films to Japan in the near future.
The launch of Aeon Beta Cinema not only brings new options to audiences but also creates positive competitive momentum for the Vietnamese film cinema market in the growth period.
