Borrowing the folk legend of the spirit possession, “Linh Mieu - Ghost in the intestines” is a story revolving around the Duong Phuc family, a wealthy family in Hue with a famous ceramic mosaic business. The head of the family is Me Bich (artist Hong Dao), who always makes others respect and admire her because of her authority and dignity. She has two sons, Vinh Trong (Van Anh) and Vinh Thai (Samuel An).
Appearing at the premiere event of the movie “Linh Mieu - Quy Nhap Trang”, sharing about her character, Thuy Tien humorously said: “Folklore often says don’t judge a book by its cover, I think this is true for Phuong (Thuy Tien’s role - PV) in “Linh Mieu - Quy Nhap Trang” because Phuong is the key to the tragedy that takes place at Duong Phuc’s house”.
Meanwhile, Thien An said: "With My Kim, everyone always considers her to be a person of noble status, the second wife of the Duong Phuc family, talented, but My Kim herself is also burdened with many responsibilities as a daughter-in-law, wife, and mother."
Artist Hong Dao expressed: "The fear in this film does not come from the scary scenes, it comes from the thoughts and experiences when entering the story taking place in Duong Phuc's house."
