The organizers announced that Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week 21st Edition 2026 will take place from June 18 to 21 at Nguyen Du Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City. This year's event is themed "Pure Fashion in Motion", emphasizing the spirit of movement, innovation and inheritance of the Vietnamese fashion industry.
The most notable point of the 21st season is the combination of veteran designers and the young creative generation. According to the organizers, this is not only a new fashion season but also the starting point for the journey of building a sustainable fashion ecosystem, where young talents are given the opportunity to develop their personal identity alongside established names.
One of the special highlights of AVIFW this year is the collaboration with Getty Images - the world's leading image and communication platform. Through this cooperation, images of Vietnamese collections, designers and models will have the opportunity to reach a large international public, contributing to promoting Vietnamese fashion on a global scale.
Ms. Trang Le - President of the Association of Southeast Asian Fashion Designers (CAFD), and also President of Vietnam International Fashion Week - said that the 21st season is not the destination but the beginning of a new journey. According to her, Vietnamese fashion needs to continue to innovate to catch up with international trends but still maintain its own identity.
This year, the program gathers 15 domestic and international designers and fashion designers. Besides familiar names such as Do Manh Cuong, Adrian Anh Tuan, Dang Trong Minh Chau or Thao Nguyen, the event also welcomes many young faces such as Nobody Knows by Kelbin Lei, DAS Studios, DINH and designer Minh Tuan. International designers from Italy, Korea, Singapore and Thailand also participate.
Crazy Lips" by young designer Tom Trandt was chosen to open the show with the "Source" collection, while designer Do Manh Cuong took on the closing position.
