The Miss World Organizing Committee in Vietnam has just announced that Miss Phan Phuong Oanh will take on the position of Director of External Relations for Miss World 2026. This is one of the important roles in operating the contest, responsible for connecting with partners, sponsors, management agencies, host localities and domestic and international organizations accompanying the event.
The 73rd Miss World, and also the 75th anniversary season of the world's oldest beauty contest, is expected to gather more than 120 contestants from many countries and territories. The representative of Vietnam to participate is Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc.
Possessing a prominent academic background with a Distinguished Diploma in International Business from the National Economics University, along with good foreign language skills with IELTS 7.5 and HSK 3 Chinese language certificate, Miss Phan Phuong Oanh is expected to contribute to promoting the effectiveness of foreign affairs work, ensuring smooth coordination between stakeholders throughout the competition organization process.
Previously, she was also one of the ambassadors accompanying Miss World 2026 in Vietnam alongside Misses Do My Linh, Tran Tieu Vy, Luong Thuy Linh, Do Thi Ha and Huynh Tran Y Nhi.
At the same time, Mr. Pham Tuan Ngoc was assigned the task of Director of Operations of Miss World 2026 in Vietnam. He is in charge of reception, communication, foreign affairs and directly coordinates with Miss World organization in coordinating and welcoming international contestants as well as deploying activities throughout the competition.
After the launching press conference in May, President Julia Morley and the Miss World delegation returned to Vietnam to survey the venues in Hanoi, Hai Phong and Nha Trang.
According to the plan, more than 120 beauties will be present in Vietnam from August 8 to participate in a series of cultural activities, tourism promotion and official competitions. The 73rd Miss World final night is scheduled to take place on September 5, promising to become a large-scale international beauty event, contributing to promoting Vietnam's image to international friends.
