The film explores conflicts in marriage, friendship and human conflict in modern life.
The film revolves around Thanh Nhan (played by Thuy Trang) - a strong, independent woman, the financial pillar of the whole family, always trying to sacrifice for her husband (Van Anh) and both paternal and maternal grandparents. It seemed to be supported by Ha My (Diem Phuong) - a rich, famous best friend, but Nhan did not expect that Ha My had an affair with her husband. The tragedy was pushed up when the perfect husband outside, Thanh ( Meritorious Artist Truong Minh Quoc Thai) - quietly manipulated and tried to seduce Nhan to repay his wife.
Not stopping at love stories, the film expands its depth by exposing the dark sides behind relationships: a sophisticated money laundering ring that disguises art, the consequences of crime that lead to innocent people like Thanh Cat's younger sister and two children Sea - Sun.
Sharing about the film, director Dang Minh Quoc affirmed: The reasoning of the adult is not an excuse for betrayal, but raises big questions about emotions, loneliness, and personal "reasons" in each wrong decision. The film does not judge, but creates space for the audience to reflect on the invisible cracks in married life.
