Returning to the big screen with the movie "Linh Mieu" after a long time focusing on his family, actor Van Anh could not avoid feeling nervous.
Van Anh said: "I came to the role of Vinh Thai by chance when I took my wife to a movie casting. After that, I was chosen for the role of Vinh Thai, but my wife failed.
At first, I also doubted myself, not knowing after so many years whether this role was suitable for me or not, whether it was as required by the director and producer or not. However, fortunately, the role was well received by the audience."
Actor Van Anh said that after the film premiered, he had the opportunity to promote the film with the crew of "Linh Mieu: Quy Nhap Trang". Here, he heard the audience's shares, comments and suggestions for his role.
Van Anh also said that he has received full support from his wife Tu Vi: “Over the years, I have stepped back to support Vi. So when I had the opportunity to return to the big screen this time, Vi supported me wholeheartedly. My wife told me to just focus on my role without worrying about anything. I feel lucky to have found a partner who understands and sympathizes with me.”
Talking about his work plans after his successful return to the big screen, Van Anh shared that both he and his wife are currently independent in film projects. In addition to taking care of their daughter, he also helps Tu Vi manage the business.
“We agree to respect each other’s work and not interfere too deeply in each other’s work. Instead, we share and give advice to each other. For example, in this role, before going to Hue to film, my wife encouraged and shared with me.
On the contrary, for my wife's roles, I also give her advice and suggestions so that we can both improve and develop our strengths that we sometimes don't realize. Thanks to that, we rarely argue in our married life," actor Van Anh confided.
