The 2025 Golden Kite Awards ceremony organized by the Vietnam Cinema Association took place with the participation of a large number of artists and professionals. In the important category for acting, Viet Huong was honored for her role as Hai Nhi in the movie Sister-in-Law, and at the same time, artist Hong Dao was named in the Best Leading Actress category.
2025 is considered Viet Huong's "sweet fruit season" when her tireless efforts in the film industry are continuously recognized. With the movie Sister-in-Law, Viet Huong conquered audiences and professionals with the role of Hai Nhi - a character with a thorny fate, complex inner world, requiring emotional restraint and acting depth. This character does not need many ostentatious dialogues, but creates a strong impression thanks to her eyes, gestures and emotional quiet moments.

Before being honored at the Golden Kite Awards 2025, the role of Hai Nhi brought Viet Huong the Best Leading Actress award at the Da Nang Asian Film Festival 2025. In addition, she also co-won the Best Film Actress award voted by the Arts Council at the 12th Green Star Awards (Film category). This series of achievements shows a clear recognition for a long-time artist who constantly innovates herself.
Sharing when receiving the Golden Kite award, Viet Huong emotionally sent words of gratitude to the Cinema Association, audience and film crew. In particular, the female artist gave loving words to director Khuong Ngoc: "Son, this Golden Kite belongs to you, mom only holds it for you". This same year, the movie Sister-in-law was also awarded the Silver Kite, closing a beautiful journey for the crew.
