This year, Hong Bang International University (HIU) was chosen as the host of the semi-final round for the field of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Started in 1998, Eureka has turned 27 years old, becoming a prestigious award for students who are passionate about scientific research. In 2025, the tournament will gather 2,178 topics in 15 fields, from Medicine and Pharmacy, Information Technology, Economics to Social Sciences and Culture - Arts.
In the semi-final round of the field of Medicine and Pharmacy, 122 topics were presented and discussed before a professional council consisting of experts, lecturers, and doctors from many institutes, schools, and hospitals. The studies focus on biomedical technology, personalized treatment, smart drugs and the application of AI in mobile biology.
HIU has 30 topics participating in Eureka 2025, of which 10 topics will enter the semi-finals. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice Principal of the school said that hosting is an opportunity for students to access a professional research environment, nurture a passion for creativity and apply science to life.
The best topics will compete in the final round scheduled to take place at the end of November at Ho Chi Minh City National University.
