The contest was organized by the Center for Innovation, Startup & Technology Transfer (Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry), Ecotech Ecotech Technology Community - Techfest Vietnam.
This year's contest focuses on 5 strategic focuses: Transforming green technology in production and life; Solutions to adapt to climate change; Sustainable education model; Effective use of natural and human resources; Improving the quality of life.
The Innogreenlife 2024 contest was launched in September 2024, with nearly 70 ideas from many training units, attracting nearly 500 passionate students to participate in the preliminary round. Since then, 30 excellent projects have entered the semi-finals.
Through a rigorous training process and 6 training courses on solid start-up skills, the 10 most outstanding teams were revealed with a clear business model, breakthrough technology and a vision for sustainable development, ready to break through in the final race.
At the final round, Associate Professor, Dr. Dam Sao Mai - Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry - emphasized the key role of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the development of the country.
With a total sponsorship value of more than 1 billion VND, not only receiving awards, the teams that reached the final round also received comprehensive support from the organizing committee such as professional consultants, communication, investment connection...
After the intense Innogreen Life 2024 final, the award was officially announced. The first prize belongs to the project "Building a timekeeping application based on face recognition and user positioning". 2 second prizes belonged to the project "Champion Bar energy bar for athletes" and the project "EcoScalegen - Nano Collagen from snakehead scales applied green biotechnology". In addition, 3 third prize projects include: Producing pure fresh cream, green technology honey dryer and Reus Circle. Besides, there is also the most innovative project prize - voted by the jury; The most favorite project prize is voted from the community and 3 consolation prizes.
From the Innogreen Life 2024 results, the 5 best projects will be selected, invested in and sent to participate in the "Students with Startup Ideas - SV STARTUP" Contest, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, along with many other national and international startup playgrounds.
A proud highlight of this year's season is the appearance of a group of high school students - something rarely seen in a large-scale competition for students. The second prize winning project called "Camsion Bar Energy for Athletes" researched by high school students from Nang Khieu High School, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted... and students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has demonstrated the spirit of inter-level cooperation and unlimited creativity of the young generation.
