The competition is organized by the Human Resources Club (HRC) of Foreign Trade University. This is an annual event exclusively for 3rd and 4th year Economics students and young bachelors with less than 1 year of experience.
Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien - Vice Principal of Foreign Trade University - affirmed: "With the philosophy of liberal education linked to practice, Foreign Trade University always strives to build a comprehensive learning environment, where students not only acquire knowledge but also comprehensively develop their personal capacity and character".

Talent Candidate 2024 offers a realistic recruitment experience with a simulation process of the Management Trainee program from leading corporations, across 5 important areas: Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources. The competition is not only a playground for students to challenge their professional skills but also a place for young people to learn how to adapt quickly, be creative and break their own limits.
In particular, this year's event witnessed an impressive scale with nearly 4,000 candidates from more than 20 universities, accompanied by leading experts and prestigious businesses. The competition journey lasted from September to December 2024, going through 4 fierce rounds to select the 6 best candidates - those who possess leadership qualities and the spirit of daring to think and dare to do.
Talented Candidates is not only a competition but also a gateway for candidates to reach their dream career opportunities. Statistics from previous seasons show that 80% of candidates who entered the Top 125 and Top 40 received job offers from large companies during their participation; 30% of Top 40 candidates are currently working as Management Trainees at multinational corporations.

This is a testament to the practical value and far-reaching influence of the competition in discovering and developing high-quality human resources. Talented Candidates is not only a place for students to test themselves but also a launching pad for them to convey their personal stories, affirm their abilities and inspire their careers.
Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien added that the success of the competition is the remarkable maturity of the contestants. They not only learn but also create their own mark, becoming future leaders with global thinking and a heart towards the community.
