Vietnam has 6 representatives in the MOSWC - Viettel 2025 world final

The World Office Informatics Competition - Viettel 2025 has selected 6 typical faces to represent Vietnam in the world finals in Orlando, Florida (USA).

On July 8, 2025, the Central Youth Union coordinated with IIG Vietnam Education Organization to organize the Summary and Award Ceremony of the World Office Informatics Championship - Viettel in the 2025 season. Here, the Organizing Committee honored and awarded prizes to 6 National Champions of the 2025 season, including:

- Do Hai Long ( posters and Telecommunications Institute of Technology - Hanoi) with the MOS Word 365 Apps exam

- Luong Son Tung (Foreign Trade University - Hanoi) with the MOS Excel 365 Apps exam

- Nguyen Thai Son (Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted - Nam Dinh) with the MOS PowerPoint 365 Apps exam

- Vuong Thu Huong (Vietnam Maritime University - Hai Phong) with the MOS Word 2019 exam

- Nghiem Thi My Linh (Vietnam Maritime University - Hai Phong) with the MOS Excel 2019 exam

- Nguyen Minh Duc (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) with the MOS PowerPoint 2019 exam

They will represent Vietnam in the World Cup finals taking place from July 27 to 30, 2025 in Orlando, Florida (USA), which will gather contestants from nearly 100 countries and territories.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Huu - Director of the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development - emphasized that the efforts to maintain and implement activities such as the World Office Championship - Viettel demonstrate the determination of the Central Youth Union in accompanying the country in promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

"After many years of organization, the contest has constantly innovated, attracting the participation of many students nationwide, becoming a useful playground, helping them perfect their IT skills according to international standards and achieve a globally prestigious professional certificate, ready to join the global workforce in the digital age" - Mr. Tran Huu added.

According to Ms. Doan Nguyen Van Khanh - Executive Director of IIG Vietnam Education Organization, co-organizer of the National Organizing Committee of the Contest - the exam in this year's National Final Round, the element of applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been included in the handling of the requirements.

This innovation aims to keep up with the trend of applying AI in digital transformation, especially in highly practical fields such as Office Informatics. This is a new aspect that contributes to the multi-dimensional assessment of contestants' abilities, thereby selecting the best representatives to compete in the World Finals; at the same time, it also helps students have the opportunity to demonstrate their AI application skills in the field of Information Technology - Ms. Doan Nguyen Van Khanh shared.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also honored and awarded 18 second prizes, 30 third prizes, 72 consolation prizes and 6 promising prizes along with many prestigious prizes for individuals and groups with high achievements in the Competition.

The World IT Championship (MOS World Championship) is an international playground for students aged 13 to 22 on a global scale to seek and honor the world's most outstanding IT talents in IT skills in the use of office IT applications. The contest has been organized annually by Certiport Group (USA) since 2002.

In Vietnam, 2025 is the 16th year the contest has been launched and organized on a national scale. The gold medal table of the Vietnam National Team at the MOSWC World Championships to date includes 21 medals (04 gold medals, 04 silver medals, 13 silver medals) and has been in the Top 10 strongest teams in the world for the past 10 consecutive years.
