Implementing the plan of Hanoi City Police, the Traffic Police Department has directed local teams to mobilize cadres, soldiers, vehicles, and equipment to coordinate with functional forces, synchronously deploy measures to ensure absolute safety for the activities of Party and State leaders, delegations and guests attending the Congress.
In addition to taking on the task of welcoming and leading Party and State leaders and delegations to attend the meeting, the Traffic Police force will increase the number of troops at key intersections, proactively monitor the situation, and regulate traffic appropriately to ensure smooth traffic; promptly handle incidents, avoid congestion, affecting the travel of delegates and people in the capital.
At the same time, the Traffic Police force has increased patrols, mobile control, maintained traffic situation monitoring through the camera system, promptly detected and coordinated to handle arising situations; strictly handled violations such as: stopping or parking in violation of regulations; using alcohol and beer while driving a vehicle; not obeying traffic lights; carrying bulky goods, not wearing helmets...
During the Hanoi Party Congress, the Traffic Police Department requested that traffic participants who encounter vehicles have the right to give priority signals, must quickly give way to priority vehicles, and absolutely follow the instructions and traffic flow of the Traffic Police force.
