On August 7, the leader of Van Tuong Commune People's Committee said that at around 6:45 a.m. on August 7, at the intersection of National Highway 24C and Tri Binh Dung Quat (section with traffic lights), a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike with license plate 76C1 - 229.61 driven by Ngo Van Hanh (born in 1973) residing in Phu Nhieu 1 village, Dong Son commune ( directions unknown) colliding with a car with license plate 81E-034.06 (able to move, the driver was not at the scene). Consequences: Hanh died on the spot, the motorbike was damaged. The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the police.
Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on August 6, at Km 7+900, National Highway 24C in Phuoc Hoa village, Van Tuong commune, a road traffic accident also occurred between a motorbike with license plate 76C1-05814 driven by Ms. Duong Thi No (born in 1985), residing in Dong Lo village, Van Tuong commune, traveling in the North - South direction, when arriving at the above location, they suspected a truck colliding (the truck driver left the scene after the accident).
As a result, Ms. Duong Thi No died on the spot, and her motorbike was damaged. The leader of Van Tuong Commune People's Committee informed that Van Tuong Commune Police are currently coordinating with the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department to continue verifying and clarifying the incident.
According to the leader of Van Tuong Commune People's Committee, from the beginning of July 2025 to now, there have been 3 traffic accidents on National Highway 24C, killing 3 people.
