Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued a document on coordinating the organization of the At Ty Spring Flower Market in 2025.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Cai Rang district and relevant agencies, units and localities to organize the 2025 Spring Flower Market at Urban Area 586, Mai Chi Tho Street, Phu Thu Ward, Cai Rang District.
The 2025 Spring Flower Market aims to create conditions for displaying and introducing ornamental plants, flowers, OCOP products, and typical products to meet the shopping, sightseeing, and entertainment needs of people and tourists on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty. At the same time, proactively invite the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Thap, Ben Tre, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Hau Giang, An Giang, and Soc Trang provinces to participate in the Flower Market.
The City People's Committee requests the City Police to direct the Cai Rang District Police, Cai Rang District People's Committee and relevant units to ensure security, order and traffic safety during the Flower Market. Support and facilitate road and waterway freight vehicles participating in the Flower Market. Implement traffic diversion solutions and plans to ensure security, order and traffic congestion in areas where the Flower Market is held.
The City People's Committee also invites businesses, cooperatives, traders, gardeners, and ornamental flower producers in the city to participate in displaying and trading flowers, ornamental plants, OCOP products, and local specialties at the 2025 Spring Flower Market.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ha Vu Son - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City - said that the Department has successfully mobilized socialization to exempt rent, electricity and water for people participating in buying and selling at the At Ty Spring Flower Market 2025.
The Spring Flower Market is expected to be held from January 18 to 28, 2025 (December 19 to 29, 2024 of the lunar calendar) at Urban Area 586, Cai Rang District. The scale of the event is over 200 lots, stalls displaying and trading ornamental flowers, ornamental plants, bonsai of gardeners, farmers, and small traders in Can Tho City and the provinces of the Mekong Delta...
