According to the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac International Marathon - Journey of Connecting Cultural Heritage 2025, this year's race will have 4 events, including: 5 km distance (athletes from 8 years old), 10 km distance (athletes from 14 years old), 21 km distance (athletes from 16 years old), 42 km distance (athletes from 18 years old). The race will take place on February 14 and 16.
The 21 km half marathon distance starts at 6:30 a.m. on February 16 in front of Kiep Bac Temple, runs along the route leading to/from National Highway 37, returns to the new route connecting Bac Giang, completes 1 lap; crosses National Highway 37 to the finish line along the 5 km route in front of Con Son relic site (Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province).
The marathon distance starts at 4:30 a.m. on February 16 in front of Kiep Bac Temple, runs along the route leading to/from National Highway 37, returns to the new route connecting Bac Giang, does 2 laps; the second lap crosses National Highway 37 to the finish line along the 5 km route in front of Con Son relic site.
The 5km and 10km distances will have a running route around Con Son Lake area. All 4 competition distances will start from the parking lot of Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site and go through the scenic spots of Chi Linh City (Hai Duong province).
The race will be the highlight of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Spring Festival in 2025, contributing to promoting the image of the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site in the process of building a dossier for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic complex of the three provinces of Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, and Bac Giang to submit to UNESCO for recognition as a world heritage site.
