On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Da Nang Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), the Da Nang Photo Exhibition - Days After Liberation and Today was organized by the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum in collaboration with Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School (Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District) and introduced from March 10. This is not only a practical activity of educating the traditional patriotic traditions for the younger generation but also a bridge to bring art closer to students in the suburbs.
The exhibition displays 60 works, divided into two special parts. Part one is 30 paintings by artist Nguyen Duc Hanh, realistically depicting the image of Da Nang in the early days after the liberation, in 1975. The second part is 30 photographic works by artist Ong Van Sinh, recording the journey of change and development of the city from the 1980s-1990s to the present.

According to the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, these valuable images recreate the vitality of animals and landscapes, the lives of Da Nang people during the difficult period of reconstruction. At the same time, it clearly depicts the city's strong growth in recent decades. This is an opportunity for students to better understand history, be more proud of their homeland's traditions, and appreciate the achievements that previous generations have worked hard to cultivate.
In particular, the exhibition opening ceremony was attended by photographer Mr. Van Sinh - Former Chairman of the Da Nang City Art photography Association. He is also the author of the photos displayed at the exhibition and the one who preserves many precious memories of the city.
