Following the success of previous years, this year's program collected more than 8.2 tons of used plant protection packaging shells and planted 1,850 plants made of lentils, black star, and butterfly on rural roads.
Previously, on May 29, 2025, Syngenta Vietnam coordinated with the Department of Crop Production and Livestock of Thai Binh province to plant 430 Taiwanese banyan trees and ban flower trees on rural roads in Dong Cuong commune, Dong Hung district.
Implemented since 2015, the program "Clean Environment - Green Life" organized by Syngenta Vietnam has continuously spread a green lifestyle and raised public awareness of environmental protection. Activities such as collecting used plant protection product packaging covers, planting trees on rural roads, and organizing training on the use of pesticides have created a clear change in people's awareness and actions.
In 2025, with the coordination of local authorities, Syngenta Vietnam organized the collection of used BVTV drug packaging at six locations in Can Tho City and Soc Trang Province. The packages after collection are processed according to a safety process, undertaken by a professional unit, ensuring compliance with the standards of Syngenta Group worldwide.
The program also focuses on training to raise awareness of the safe, effective and responsible use of pesticides.
