9-year-old girl choked up hoping her parents would stop arguing

In the program "What I want to say", baby girl Thien Kim (9 years old) made many people silent when expressing a simple wish: that her family would no longer have loud arguments.

The program brings a touching story of baby Thien Kim, under the guidance of MC Oc Thanh Van and psychologist Dr. Dao Le Hoa An. Through this, the hidden corners in family life are revealed by the true voice of a child.

In the "secret box" section, baby Thien Kim brings the image of a sunflower with a smile, symbolizing luck and happiness. A small item but containing a great wish for a peaceful home - something that seems simple but is far away for her.

According to her sharing, Thien Kim's father is a delivery worker, and her mother is a seamstress. Although her father is responsible for the family, every time she comes home from drinking, she often becomes uncomfortable, leading to arguments with her mother. The frustration makes the mother also often raise her voice, making the family atmosphere more tense.

Witnessing the conflicts, the little girl chose to remain silent, quietly leave and hide her emotions. "I don't dare to say it because I'm afraid my parents won't listen," she shared. Sometimes, the accumulated sadness makes her burst into tears in loneliness.

From this story, Dr. Dao Le Hoa An said that this is a common reaction in young children when living in an unstable family environment. Children are often worried, scared and do not know what to do other than withdraw. According to experts, parents need to adjust their behavior, avoid conflicts affecting their children's psychology. At the same time, sharing and listening between members is an important factor in helping to mend relationships.

In the moment of silence of the program, Thien Kim took all the courage to say what she had hidden for so long: "Dad, don't fight with me anymore". The sentence was short but contained a longing for a peaceful family.

Listening to her child, the mother could not hide her emotions and promised to change, and at the same time open her heart to share more with her child. Closing the story, MC Oc Thanh Van reminded that every child needs an emotionally safe home - a place without injuries from adult conflicts.
