Many times like that, I felt so frustrated that I took my child and left to my parents' house. However, in just a short time, my husband immediately texted and called to give all kinds of reasons for his wife and child to return. So gradually, I got tired of my husband's threats of divorce.”
Master Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung (Director of Institute of Research, Training and Application of Psychology IPRTA) said: “Every time we get angry, we will not be able to control our emotions. However, threatening divorce will hurt the other person, make the other person feel insecure, and affect the other person's thinking and psychology”.
Divorce is the last resort in resolving conflicts between spouses. However, many people use it as a weapon of self-defense.
Threatening each other is a double-edged sword that can affect your marriage. To keep your marriage strong, when you are hurt or angry, try to restrain yourself from asking for a divorce if you have not thought about it carefully.
