The movie "Tai" premiered nationwide from March 6 and received many positive feedbacks from audiences. Currently, the movie has reached the 70 billion VND box office revenue mark.
Some viewers when watching the film commented that "Tai" clearly shows the life and family conflicts in the modern social context. Besides, the martial arts element of the film is also noticed by many viewers. Action scenes are staged at a fast pace and bring a realistic feeling in many scenes.

Interacting with audiences in Hanoi after the recent movie screening, producer My Tam shared that: "I'm afraid I won't dare to ask people if it's okay. But when I received applause from everyone, I also felt somewhat better. When I do it, I also don't know how the audience will judge the movie. This is a great motivation for me, Mai Tai Phen and all the actors and crew".
Positive feedback from the audience is considered an important source of motivation for the film crew. During the project implementation, the crew spent a lot of time completing the script and building a story suitable for the audience's tastes.

Producer My Tam also shared more about her decision to participate in the film production when she received the script from director Mai Tai Phen: "From the beginning, I only focused on the script. After many different scripts from Mai Tai Phen, I finally nodded in agreement to do production. I considered the feasibility and factors suitable for the public, then started production.
Tai" is a "fate" for me. When I received the project, I was very excited. When I had finished everything, suddenly a moment flashed in my head: "Am I taking too much risk? ". But then, I found myself with a quality and professional crew. So the release of the movie "Tai" on this occasion is completely reasonable".

Meanwhile, director Mai Tai Phen also talked about the journey of implementing the film project: "3 years ago, I also made a web-drama about action. In that film, I also tried all 3 roles in one project. I think I can do it and try to improve myself.
Since I was little, I have liked action movies. I learned how to fight to suit both the character and myself. The stuntmen supported me a lot to complete this project. After "Tai", I also realized my limitations and shortcomings. I will definitely improve myself to be able to carry out more projects in the future".
In this film, Mai Tai Phen takes on many roles at the same time, from scriptwriting, directing acting to directly participating in acting in the main character.

Mai Tai Phen also added about choosing the Mekong Delta setting for the film: "Tai is a fairly safe project for me. I took the setting in the Mekong Delta, which is my hometown. I understand the culture and people here. For the next film, if I have the opportunity to continue making it, I will definitely invite more actors from the North to the film. I haven't thought about the next project yet. I am still in the stage of collecting audience feedback, and then thinking about what I need to do next.
The film crew will continue to carry out exchange activities, film screenings and meetings with audiences in many localities. This also helps the film maintain its appeal during the release phase, while creating more opportunities for the crew to share about the journey of implementing this film project.
