After 28 years, the reunion in the live concert "Memoir" of Watermelon is not only a reunion of 3 artists who were attached to each other in their youth but also evokes memories for the Capital's audience of a brilliant period of Vietnamese youth music in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
For many audiences in Hanoi, the music night is like a train of memories, taking them back to the youthful years when Watermelon was once a name associated with student stages, television programs and the musical life of a whole generation.
Right from the opening performance, the 3 members appeared in elegant tuxedos and harmonized in "Unstoppable", a new composition by musician Ho Hoai Anh with lyrics written by journalist Ha Quang Minh specifically for the Watermelon group.

Immediately after that, the auditorium exploded when the group continued with "Soft Sunlight", a song that has been associated with the name of Watermelon since its debut. The remix was refreshed to be more youthful and vibrant but still retains the bright spirit of the original.
The first chapter of the show is therefore imbued with nostalgia, bringing the audience back to the summer of 1998 - the most brilliant period of the group. In the exchange, the members emotionally mentioned the late musician Ngoc Chau - the first person to sponsor Watermelon.

After bringing the audience back to the glorious days of Watermelon, the second chapter of the concert opens with solo performances by each member and duets with guests as a way to recount their own journey that each person has gone through in nearly three decades, after the group disbanded.
Tu Dua opened this part with a mashup of "Anh nho em - Tan lop phan hong" composed by himself, which was successfully performed by Tuan Hung. Next, he sang a duet with Thuy Chi the song "Mot thoi ta la the" inspired by pure love affairs in his youth.

Tuan Hung's solo performance brought many emotions when he performed the song "Tray Xuat" composed by Ho Hoai Anh. The male singer shared that he had just gone through a difficult period in personal emotions and it was music that helped him get up. The return of Qua Dua Hau as well as the production of new products for the group also created a lot of inspiration for him after half a year of difficulties.

Appearing next to Tuan Hung, Le Quyen called her senior the most commensurate stage lover with her. They together performed the song "Please Answer Me". The female singer said that she was very happy that the members of Watermelon did not forget her in such a meaningful and wonderful music night.

She is still nostalgic for 23 years ago, when musician Tuong Van - former member of the Watermelon band - and the production team produced the album "Real Dream". After the success of that debut album, her name became closer to the audience.

With a solo performance, male singer Bang Kieu brought a romantic space with "Con mua bang gia", before duetting with Minh Tuyet in "Tinh bo vo". The two voices harmonized smoothly, recalling the duets that were loved by the audience for many years. Minh Tuyet also made the audience excited when performing the hit "Da khong yeu thi thoi" (If you don't love, then don't) full of excitement.
The final chapter of the concert is the most explosive part, when the 3 members of Watermelon return to the stage to perform hits that were associated with the youth of the 1990s with new remixes or newly released songs by the group such as "Get Down", "Chi con mua roi", "He muon", "Cam on am nhac", "Hoa co mua xuan"...
