After nearly 3 decades since leaving the common stage, the Watermelon band officially reunited in a live concert called "Memoir" which will take place in two nights, March 14th and 15th at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi).
The live concert marks a reunion that music lovers have been waiting for for many years, when melodies that were once associated with the youth of many generations are brought back, reminding of the sky of old memories but recounted with new, mature and more experienced musical colors.

Ban Ghi Nhom" is not simply a performance night but also a place where memories are opened up by music, where people can encounter themselves of past years in each familiar melody. Not only that, these 2 performance nights are also a place for members of the Watermelon band to meet again in music, step onto the stage with a different, more mature, more calm appearance but still retaining their unique "quality" that once captivated millions of audiences.
With this return, Bang Kieu - Tuan Hung - Anh Tu (Tu Dua) will be "pieces" appearing on stage, together reviving the spirit of Watermelon in a new face through the hands of General Director Ho Hoai Anh, promising to bring many levels of emotions and unexpected explosions for the audience.

Notably, the live concert will not only bring the audience back to familiar songs associated with the names of the once-famous boy band, but also open up a continuation with new compositions by musician Ho Hoai Anh dedicated to Watermelon.
A special feature in the upcoming live concert is also the interesting appearance of 3 guest artists, which are 3 female voices representing different musical colors including Le Quyen, Minh Tuyet and Thuy Chi.
The live concert also opens a new phase in the musical journey of Watermelon. This is a long-term return project with a clear direction. In which, Watermelon will release the EP Livesession "Memoir" including 6 MVs, especially there will be completely new songs such as: "Give me another time", "Unstopable", "Thank you music"...
Singer Anh Tu admitted that when working with all people with "number stars", everyone must clearly agree, each person takes on a part of the job, whoever is strong in what point will promote that point, avoiding overlap.

After the live concert, Watermelon will return to activity as a 3-member band, participating in performances at music stages and carefully selected projects.
Born in 1998, Watermelon is considered one of the typical male bands in the period when Vietnamese music entered the boom of idol culture, when youth music stages, performance programs and tapes were places to preserve the youth of millions of audiences.

After disbandment, each member in Watermelon stepped into a separate path and all left a clear mark in their musical lives. Bang Kieu continued his singing career and affirmed himself in the lyrical Pop - Ballad genre; Tuan Hung became a prominent face of youth music with a strong personality and unique style.
Anh Tu is not only successful when "solo" but also persistent in the role of musician and producer; while Tuong Van chooses a quieter path, rarely appearing in public but still maintaining his composing style and love for music in his own way.
