When not standing on stage, Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh often spends time making tea, sitting next to her mother and chatting with relatives. For the female artist, this is a way for her to live slowly and balanced after busy days with art.
Nhu Huynh revealed that she likes to make tea herself, from warming it up, admiring each flower petal, putting the tea in the teapot, pouring water, waiting for the tea to soak in, and then slowly pouring it into small cups. These seemingly simple operations bring her a moment of silence amidst the hurried pace of life.
Tea comes to me very naturally, from sitting with my mother, with relatives, and gradually becoming a daily habit that I always want to keep in my life," the female artist shared.
Nhu Huynh does not consider herself to be knowledgeable or knowledgeable about tea. She also does not put much emphasis on whether tea must be precious, warm, or beautiful, or how to enjoy tea must be standard. What the female artist cherishes most is the person sitting opposite her.
According to Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh, the value of a cup of tea sometimes does not lie in how good the tea is, but in who you are sitting with. Making tea for mothers or relatives, for her, is not a special ritual but simply an opportunity for everyone to sit together, chat and enjoy the time they can still be together.
The older she gets, the more the female artist realizes that seemingly ordinary moments can become the most memorable memories.
“In the past, I might think a morning sitting and drinking tea was normal. But at some point, I understand that the times sitting with my mother, listening to an old story, watching relatives raise a cup of tea... are the memories that I want to preserve the most,” she confided.
Over the past time, Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh has been busy with artistic activities. On August 28, she brought "Da co hoai lang" to the first Ca Mau Hot Air Balloon Festival. On September 2nd, the female artist participated in an art program serving the National Day.
The life of an artist is inherently associated with the stage, lights, trips and a tight schedule. Therefore, the time returning to family becomes even more meaningful for Nhu Huynh.
The stage gives me light, and family gives me peace. And I always know I am lucky to have a place to return to," she said.
For Nhu Huynh, tea also teaches her patience. There are flavors that cannot be felt immediately, just like there are things in life that need enough time to understand and cherish.
Not everything is rushed. There are things that have to wait enough time to converge, to fully feel the flavor of tea and the taste of life," the female artist shared.
Sometimes, Nhu Huynh sees people as a teapot. The more people know how to calm down, the more they have the opportunity to understand the value of seemingly simple things.
I make tea not to prove that I know how to enjoy tea, but to remind myself to enjoy life," Nhu Huynh said.
After trips, performances and stage lights, the female artist still wants to return to her family, to her mother and a small teapot. For her, peace is sometimes not far away, but lies in very ordinary moments.
