Information that singer Dan Truong returned to Vietnam to perform in the "Vietnam Essence - Four Brothers One Family" music festival has just been confirmed by the male singer's management. This is considered one of the rare times Dan Truong arranged his schedule from the US to return home to perform in a community-meaning music program. The appearance of the male singer is expected to attract the attention of a large audience, especially the 8X - 9X generation who were associated with his famous songs.
According to singer and musician A Tuan - the initiator of the program, inviting Dan Truong to participate this time has special meaning for him personally. The male musician said that in his youth he was a die-hard fan of "Anh Bo".
When I was in school, I had two-parted hair like Mr. Dan Truong, and many pictures of him were hanging in my house. I had almost every cassette tape of him. During my student days, I often sang his songs in karaoke sessions," A Tuan recalled.
He also recounted that when he first started composing in Long Xuyen (An Giang), he once boldly sent his song to his idol with the hope of being noticed. Although the opportunity to collaborate at that time was not realized, that memory became a motivation for him to pursue the path of music.
After many years of working in the field of art and event organization, A Tuan had the opportunity to invite his idol to participate in a program he made.
