On April 29, Hue Central Hospital officially put into operation the RevolutionTM Maxima CT 128 slice cutting camera system - a modern device integrated with artificial intelligence (AI), marking a great step forward in imaging diagnosis.
The 128-slice CT system manufactured by GE Healthcare (USA) integrates an AI camera that automatically locates patients, helping to improve image quality, reduce radiation doses and optimize patient experience.
The receiving device has a resolution of 0.28mm, allowing for the detection of extremely small damage. The system is also supported by a series of in-depth AI applications in diagnosing diseases such as liver tumors, lung cancer, colon and stroke.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep emphasized that the operation of the 128-slice CT machine system is a testament to the hospital's continuous efforts in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, pioneering the application of technology and anticipating the trend of smart healthcare.
On the basis of the CT 512 sliced system previously deployed, Hue Central Hospital continues to complete the "golden technology duo" - a multi-speed diagnostic ecosystem, flexibly meeting clinical scenarios, aiming to optimize the application of high technology in people's health care.
