- Increases mobility and joint flexibility: Chair yoga for seniors helps improve flexibility, especially in the spine, shoulders and hips.

- Muscle strengthening: By using appropriate postures and movements with the chair, it helps improve muscle strength in the upper and lower limbs, agility and balance.

- Better posture: By promoting spinal alignment and strengthening back muscles, chair yoga helps improve posture.

- Improve blood circulation: Gentle movements help improve blood flow and circulation, especially for people who have to sit for long periods of time.

- Weight loss: Practicing yoga helps reduce body fat by increasing blood flow to muscles and fat cells, releasing fat for energy, thus, helping to lose weight.
