The Long Chau pharmacy and vaccination center system and Bayer Vietnam officially become a 5-year strategic partner of the Ministry of Health in stroke prevention and control.
The program is implemented with a long-term vision, spreading the message of Proactively preventing stroke, raising awareness, strengthening prevention, early detection and effective management of risk factors right from the community and grassroots levels.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Le Thai Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Disease Prevention (Ministry of Health), emphasized that stroke is still one of the leading causes of death and disability in Vietnam, while many risk factors can be completely controlled if detected early and managed properly. The Ministry of Health highly appreciates the tripartite cooperation model in mobilizing social resources and expanding access to preventive activities for people.
Representatives of Bayer Vietnam and Long Chau affirmed their commitment to long-term companionship with the health sector, in order to bring stroke screening, counseling and risk management activities closer to the community, contributing to reducing the burden of disease and improving people's quality of life.
