Lam Dong - On the afternoon of December 15, Binh Thuan College handed over and accepted the results of the school-level scientific research on Haama breathing practice.

The scientific research topic is called "The impact of the Haama Breath method in changing some physiological indicators and mental state of students in the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy".

The school-level acceptance council has assessed and approved the results according to the correct procedures, after 6 months the topic was implemented with experimental research and practical impact assessment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Do Huy Son - Principal of Binh Thuan College highly appreciated the working spirit of the research team.

During the implementation of the project, we strictly followed the regulations on scientific research management issued by relevant parties, closely followed the regulations on scientific research regulations of Binh Thuan College, and strictly implemented the requirements for the health science research project, he said.

According to Dr. Do Huy Son, the results of the topic are a testament to the scientific development orientation associated with the practical needs that the school is pursuing. At the same time, it demonstrates the effectiveness of socializing scientific research activities, especially in the field of health.

On behalf of the research group, MSc. Tran Thi Huu An - Head of the Department of Nursing - Public Health, Head of the topic - presented the acceptance report.

Accordingly, the study was conducted on students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, focusing on assessing the impact of the Haama Breath breathing method through physiological indicators and mental state.

The results showed that this method created a clear impact at two levels: immediate impact after about 20 breaths and long-term impact after 8 weeks of practice. The indicators are measured before - after the practice stages and during the practice process of maintaining many weeks.

Data shows an improvement in many physiological indicators. Specifically, heart rate, cardiopulmonary - cardiopulmonary blood pressure and cortisol concentration are all reduced compared to before practice, both in the immediate impact and after the participants maintain practice.

This is the first study to systematically assess the effects of Haama Breath on certain physiological indicators and mental state. The research results contribute to providing important scientific evidence for the development and application of this breathing method in medicine and health education in the community, said MSc. Tran Thi Huu An.

Ms. Vashna Thien Kim - the researcher and founder of the Haama Breath breathing method - said that the research results show that this is a method with a scientific basis and the ability to be applied in practice.

According to her, the next challenge is not only to continue to research more deeply, but also to put established values into life in a correct, controlled and responsible way, especially in the educational and community environment, in the context of increasing mental pressure and social fluctuations.
