In order to protect people from potential risks that can cause accidents, District 1 launched a high-profile campaign focusing on inspection, monitoring, and prevention of illegal medical examination and treatment activities. In particular, individuals and organizations that intentionally violate or re-violate in this field will be strictly handled according to the provisions of the law.
District 1 requests that establishments strictly comply with legal regulations on permitted scope of operations and advertise beauty services in accordance with approved content.

Mr. Nguyen Nguyet Cau - Head of District 1 Health Department said that District 1 has about 8 cosmetic hospitals licensed by the Ministry of Health, 25 cosmetic clinics, 30 dermatology clinics licensed by the Department of Health to perform beauty services.
However, nowadays, there are more and more beauty salons, spas,... which are only allowed to provide non-invasive cosmetic services but still secretly perform invasive techniques such as filler injections and liposuction, causing complications for customers.
