On October 30, a representative of the Nghe An Department of Health said that after Lao Dong Newspaper reported and the Provincial People's Committee directed, the Department of Health established a team to inspect many cosmetic surgeries in Vinh City, discovering and handling many cosmetic surgeries that violated the law.
During an inspection at the Vietnam HTK Export Facility, located at 26C Nguyen Thai Hoc, the inspection team discovered that the facility had committed an administrative violation of "Advertising medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment or a certificate to practice medical examination and treatment".
Nghe An Department of Health fined this facility 35 million VND and forced it to remove its advertisement for medical examination and treatment services on the Facebook page "Department of Orthopedic Surgery - Nghe An Province".
Inspecting the TATA beauty salon business, address 37 Nguyen Sy Sach, the inspection team discovered that the facility had committed an administrative violation of "Providing medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment".
The facility was fined VND45 million and suspended for 18 months.
The authorities also fined MAYO Cosmetic and Dental Company Limited (Business Location No. 04), located at 12 Nguyen Phong Sac, a total of VND104 million and suspended operations for 4.5 months.
Fined the MEDIC SKIN beauty business, located at 238A Tran Phu, a total of 87 million VND and suspended its operations for 4.5 months.
In addition, the inspection team discovered that two cosmetic surgeries (Dr Han Premium International Beauty Institute, at 27 Nguyen Van Cu and Hong Ngoc SPA business at 286 Nguyen Van Cu) had laser and wave projectors, but the owners of these cosmetic surgeries stated that they did not use these rays to perform services on customers' bodies, so there was no basis for punishment.
During the inspection process of the Nghe An Provincial Department of Health, 6 cosmetic facilities closed down and stopped operating to avoid the authorities.
That is, ST DIAMOND Beauty Salon, facility 1 at No. 18, Lane 01, Tran Thu Do Street and facility 2 at No. 493 - 495, Street 1C, Cua Tien Urban Area;
KANGWON Beauty Salon, address 6 Phan Boi Chau; SINGHAN BEAUTY business, address 132 Nguyen Sy Sach;
Ms. Thai Thi Tho's beauty salon is located on the first floor of Kim Truong Thi apartment building, 58 Vo Thi Sau; Berry Clinic beauty salon is located at 6 Mai Hac De.
According to Nghe An Department of Health, most cosmetic surgeries providing cosmetic services, medical examination and treatment do not follow the law, and they tried every way to deal with the inspection team, such as the owners avoiding, sending contract employees to work with the team, closing down and ceasing operations.
Nghe An Department of Health acknowledges the participation of press agencies, reporters, and press collaborators in propaganda and warning work to inform people about violations of clinics providing cosmetic services, medical examination and treatment that do not comply with the law; detect violations by these establishments and notify the authorities for timely inspection and handling.
