Almost lost his life due to ant bites

On July 28, Thanh Son Regional Medical Center (Phu Tho) just saved the life of Mr. H.H.T (39 years old, Hy Cuong commune, Phu Tho) who was shocked by anaphylaxis due to ant bites.

According to the patient's family, about an hour before being admitted to the hospital, the patient was bitten by an ant in the hand and foot. Initially, only a few red spots appeared with an itchy feeling spreading throughout the body. However, the condition quickly became worse with symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, neck choking, dizziness and dizziness. Because he could not be treated at home, his family immediately took him to Thanh Son Regional Medical Center for emergency care.

At the Emergency - Intensive Care and Poison Control departments, doctors determined that the patient had anaphylactic shock of level III - a dangerous condition that threatens his life. After correct and quick assessment, the medical team immediately deployed emergency measures. Thanks to that, the patient was released from shock, and vital signs and hemodynamics gradually stabilized.

After a few days of treatment and monitoring, the patient fully recovered, had no complications and was safely discharged from the hospital.
