This is an important expansion, helping patients access international standard medical services at JCI certified hospitals with health insurance support costs.
Previously, from July 2025, FV became an initial health insurance medical examination and treatment facility, applying health insurance for outpatient services. The expansion of the entire hospital's health insurance allows health insurance cardholders, including children under 6 years old, to be paid for services such as medical examination, testing, diagnostic imaging, surgery, inpatient and outpatient treatment, medicine and medical supplies under the health insurance list.
According to a representative of FV Hospital, patients using health insurance are consulted transparently from the beginning about payment benefits, co-payment and services outside the scope of health insurance (if any). The medical examination and treatment process is carried out synchronously, regardless of payment methods.
Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon, General Director of FV Hospital, said that the application of full-hospital health insurance helps reduce the financial burden for patients, while contributing to expanding access to high-quality medical services, reducing the burden on the public hospital system and aiming for fairness in healthcare.
