Maintaining continuously since 2011, the Ho Chi Minh City International Women's Cycling Tournament - Biwase Cup has become a familiar rendezvous for women's long-distance cycling teams.
However, 2026 is of special significance when for the first time both Biwase Tour of Vietnam and Biwase Cup are included in the official scoring system by the World Cycling Union (UCI).

Being recognized in the UCI system not only elevates the position of the tournament but also marks an important turning point for Vietnamese women's cycling on the international sports map. This is proof of the organizational capacity, brand reputation and increasing professionalism of the tournament.
Mr. Ngo Van Lui - Deputy General Director of Biwase, Co-Head of the Organizing Committee, said that UCI's standards on expertise, technology, logistics and route security are very strict.
In addition, the race officially opens on March 4 in Ho Chi Minh City and closes on March 9 in Da Lat. The races pass through many localities rich in professional value and unique landscapes such as Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Ngo Van Lui shared "Each route opens up a new space, each destination is a story about culture, people and the vibrant pace of life.
Through this, the tournament not only spreads the spirit of sports but also contributes to promoting the image of Vietnam being dynamic, friendly and deeply integrated with international friends".
With the theme "Going to the forest, going to the sea", each route not only challenges the physical strength and tactics of the racers but also opens up a diverse cultural space.
From vibrant urban areas to windy highlands, from sunny coastal roads to winding mountain passes, the tournament becomes a journey telling stories about people, rhythm of life and the strong transformation of the lands.

Biwase Cup 2026 gathers 23 national teams and clubs. Besides, there are 17 international teams and clubs from Australia, Switzerland, Spain, Norway, Ecuador, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, China, Singapore and Taiwan (China), along with athletes from Russia, Japan, Morocco competing in the colors of clubs.
