This is a special sporting event, marking the first time the 110-point competition format of the World Badminton Federation has been applied in Vietnam.
Instead of playing in the traditional 3-set 21-point format, the teams compete in a mixed team format. Each team participates in 10 consecutive matches in 5 events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
Each event will have 2 rounds, the team that reaches 110 points first will win. The score will increase from 11, 22, 33 to 110, with the rule that if the losing team has a score lower than the specified level, it will be raised to the minimum level. This format creates appeal and requires flexible tactics and close coordination between players.
The tournament also has an advanced competition group for athletes with a ranking of 1,420 points or more. These points are calculated from the rankings through the exchange seasons with Hai Yen from 2023.

The ranking system is built based on the standards of the World and Asian Badminton Federations, with the advice of coach Huynh Tri Thinh, member of the Development Board of the Asian Badminton Federation.
