The matches will take place at the Tennis Court Complex of the Vinh Long Province Sports Training and Competition Center from October 4-13. Accordingly, nearly 300 players from 17 provinces/cities/industries will compete in 20 events including age groups from U8 to U18.
The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) in collaboration with the Vinh Long Provincial Tennis Federation and the Vinh Long Department of Culture and Sports. This is not only an opportunity for young athletes to showcase their talents, but also an opportunity to promote the tennis movement in the locality and the Mekong Delta region.
This year's tournament has the participation of many outstanding athletes such as Nguyen Minh Phat, Le Tien Anh, Vu Tuan Phong, Ngo Hong Hanh, and Ngo Bao Ngan... These names promise to bring exciting and dramatic matches to the audience.
In addition to the matches, the organizers also held the Mekong Delta Tennis - Pickleball Development Conference 2024-2025 - Economic Sports & Sustainable Development. Attending the conference will be representatives of VTF leaders, leaders of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Tennis Federations of the Mekong Delta provinces and Ho Chi Minh City.
The conference listened to presentations from VTF, Ho Chi Minh City Tennis-Pickleball Federation & Phu Yen Provincial Federation, which are leading localities nationwide, sharing their pioneering experiences in merging Pickleball with local tennis, orienting sustainable development for both sports in localities, thereby opening up opportunities to link sports with economic development, tourism & local brand development in the new situation.
In addition, valuable speeches from localities will be exchanged at the conference. In particular, the signing ceremony of regional cooperation in developing tennis & Pickleball in the Mekong Delta region with Ho Chi Minh City & VTF will take place. This is an important step to promote the development of these sports in the Mekong Delta region.
With clear plans and directions, the National Talent Tennis Championship - Phuoc Thanh Cup IV 2024 and the Mekong Delta Tennis - Pickleball Development Conference 2024 - 2025 - Economic Sports & Sustainable Development not only contribute to the development of the tennis movement, the right direction and sustainability for Pickleball but also enhance the position of Vinh Long on the regional sports map.
