Gia Lai - Owner of an online roasted rice restaurant violated the law because he did not have a certificate of food safety eligibility.

On September 10, the Gia Lai Provincial Market Management Department said that the unit had just drawn up a record to handle a owner of a food business establishment that violated the law, posing a potential risk to the health of consumers.

Accordingly, the account "Eating on an H.H". doing business online on e-commerce platforms TikTok and Shopee, selling unoiled fried rice products to customers who order online (not selling directly on the spot), showed signs of violating regulations on food safety.

Using professional measures, on September 9, Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with Vinh Thanh Commune Police - Gia Lai Provincial Police to inspect Tran Thi H business household (address: Dinh To village, Vinh Thanh commune, Gia Lai province), represented by Ms. Tran Thi H (born in 1971).

At the time of inspection, Ms. H was trading in food but did not have a certificate of food safety eligibility and had not yet declared the quality of the product.

Market Management Team No. 4 temporarily detained 101 jars of fried rice (0.5kg/jars), worth VND 8,585,000 (according to the price listed at the business household), and at the same time made a record of administrative violations, and submitted them to competent authorities for handling according to legal regulations.
