After being launched in Vietnam, Samsung's high-end smartphone Galaxy S26 series will be delivered to customers by major systems in Vietnam from 0:00 on March 6.
According to Lao Dong's records, the most premium version of this line, Galaxy S26 Ultra, is the most ordered by Vietnamese consumers. At the CellphoneS system, as of the time of opening sale, they recorded up to 3,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series, an increase of nearly 40% compared to the previous generation.
According to user tastes in Vietnam, most people choose the most high-end product, so Galaxy S26 Ultra is still the device chosen by many customers at the system, accounting for nearly 90% of the total deposit amount. This year, the 512GB capacity version accounts for 60% of the total Ultra version orders.
At The Gioi Di Dong system, as of noon on March 5, the system's homepage recorded more than 3,200 deposits for this product line, of which the most premium version S26 Ultra had an overwhelming deposit volume.
Meanwhile, the 24hStore system recorded more than 3,250 customers interested in the product, an increase of about 5% compared to the previous generation, of which the S26 Ultra version accounted for 85%.
Talking to Lao Dong, Ms. Anh Hong - Communications Director of 24hStore system said that Samsung's new product line being welcomed shows that the shopping trend in 2026 is changing significantly. Users are increasingly understanding and interested in the AI features that Samsung integrates into new phone lines.
The manufacturer has made AI the core operating platform of the S26 series, not just an additional feature as before. AI is deeply integrated into software and systems, helping the device respond quickly, understand natural language, and support daily tasks from the interface to the core applications of the phone.
Users are becoming more and more "smart", they are interested in truly useful features, not just hardware specifications, so it is understandable that the S26 Series is being more concerned than its predecessor," Ms. Anh Hong emphasized.
At Minh Tuan Mobile, the system recorded about 100 orders and thousands of customers interested in the Galaxy S26 series in just the past week, an increase of nearly 20% compared to the time Samsung Galaxy S25 Series was on sale.
Notably, Galaxy S26 Ultra accounts for up to 75% of total pre-orders. This trend shows that users are increasingly prioritizing the high-end version, especially when the device is supplemented with active anti-spy feature - a factor to meet security needs in the public environment.
Mr. Phan Tran Thanh - Director of Phone Industry, FPT Shop system emphasized that the number of customers ordering Samsung Galaxy S26 is quite positive even though the selling price of the new generation is higher than the old lines. In which, the Ultra version still accounts for the highest proportion, especially the purple color. Compared to Samsung's old lines, purchasing power in general remains stable, especially in the high-end segment.
Belonging to the high-end segment, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is a direct competitor to the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
